The program of BPG consists of a Bar in the Oceanfront of Montevideo, Uruguay, in a specific assigned location known as Punta Gorda. The approach of this project consists in understanding the architectural project as a complex but integrated response.

 

Some of the issues to be solved were:

- Referring to the site: topography, sunlighting, wind behavior, insertion in the landscape, views, scale-size relation.

- Referring to the program: access, conditioning in summer and winter, moments of use (yearly), users, Exterior-interior relation, path-sequence relation, and character.
