The MIAMI BEACH URBAN (eco)SYSTEM project emerges as a way to create a micro urban environment in order to amplify the urban fabric of Miami beach. The building will enhance the  city of Miami Beach and the community in various ways. It will create a new active 24/7 public attraction right next to Lincoln Road. It will also create 45 micro-unit apartments, an elevated Art Plaza with temporary Art Installations, a cultural Center with an adjacent Urban Farm that will feed the market and educate the community about how to be more auto-sufficient.

Site Shadow Analysis

The concept for this project is to create a building that will create a seamless connection between the community and the building itself and enhance the lives of the surrounding inhabitants. It intends to make the community conscious about the benefits of buying local products and home grown food, while creating open public spaces for activities and local art exhibitions and interaction.
